Robert L. “Bob” Ballard, 74, of McDonald, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the family residence.
He was the son of the late James P. Ballard Sr. and Blanche Bryant Ballard; and was also preceded in death by his brother, James P. Ballard Jr.; and his step-daughter, Jennifer Edgemon.
Bob was a retired CNC machinist and metal fabricator working with Electrical Systems Inc. for several years. He attended Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was an Avid NASCAR fan and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cindy Ballard; his son, Tim Edgemon of Cleveland; his daughter, Penny Edgemon-Houck of Ooltewah; two grandsons, Seth and Zach Houck; and his favorite niece, Patricia Sharp of Sharps Chapel TN.
At Bob’s request there will be no formal services scheduled.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to St. Jude’s Children Hospital 501, St. Jude Place, Memphis TN., 38105.
