The Liberty played a hard-fought game, however, and got within two possessions with less than 15 seconds on the clock. Despite Tina Charles scoring 24 points and Epiphany Prince chipping in 21, New York was handed their fifth straight loss.

Atlanta Dream (74) vs. Minnesota Lynx (85)

Maya Moore paced the Lynx in their sixth win in a row with an 85-74 victory over the Dream. Sylvia Fowles posted her 12th double-double of the season with 13 points and 15 boards, which is the most in the league. The Lynx pulled away when Moore and Lindsey Whalen ignited an 11-0 run with a pair of threes in the third quarter. But the Dream never stopped swinging. In the loss, Imani McGee-Stafford added 15 points, while Damiris Dantas and Brittney Sykes each contributed 14.

LA Sparks (78) vs. Las Vegas Aces (94)

Rookie A’ja Wilson’s 29 points and 9 rebounds led all scorers in the win for the Aces over the Sparks in Friday’s matchup. The Sparks were able to stay in the game due to their stellar three-point shooting, with 13 made for the night.
