John DeLaney is a real-estate investor living in Florida after a successful career in Louisville, KY running his own State Farm Insurance Agency from college to retirement from that career. John worked his way through the University of Louisville School of Business buying older homes, fixing them up and selling them. During that time John did a lot of the repair work himself until he entered the Insurance Business. John was born into an entrepreneurial family growing up with a father that ran a large and booming furniture business until his death at the age of forty-six. John worked in his father's store beginning at a very young age and learned the value of work and play.
John's hard work earned him many awards and trips for his production as an agent, but he is most proud of the loyalty his clients demonstrated for the special attention and service he and his team provided that was always above and beyond the expectations of the 'average agent. John was successful developing and building a series of homes and apartments during his career having developed and built nearly three hundred units with a group of partners that he led. John still has twenty-one homes and twenty-four apartments today and that number is growing!
John's and his family are very tight, and they enjoy hanging out at the pool, fishing, and boating together. John is a childhood motorcyclist having just returned from a trip riding in Europe with friends covering five countries from Italy to Croatia starting and ending in Milan.
Currently, John is adding homes to his collection in and around his hometown of Cape Coral, Florida having purchased homes on Pine Island Florida in Bokeelia and St. James City. These homes are rental properties and his goal is to help others acquire properties and find their own freedom through real-estate investing.
