BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Terminal locations at Burlington International Airport will be shifted while the airport undergoes a repaving project.
WCAX-TV reports the project is expected to run from April to November. Deputy Director of Aviation Administration Nicolas Longo says the airport will replace concrete that’s about 25 years old. The Federal Aviation Administration requires the upkeep.
Longo says the repaving project will allow the airport to service larger planes.
The project will cost $10 million to complete. FAA grants will cover 90 percent of the costs while the airport’s budget and ticket revenue will support the rest.
