Jerry Allen Jackson, 77, of Mill Spring, NC passed away, Monday morning, February 5, 2018 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC.

Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Claude and Violet Wilson Jackson and husband of the late Mildred McGuinn Jackson who passed away in 2011. Mr. Jackson worked in the Logging Industry for many years and attended Coopers Gap Baptist Church.

Surviving is one brother, Ralph Jackson (Phyllis) of Hendersonville, NC; two step-sons, Dwight Lynch (Gail) of Hendersonville, NC and Don Eric Lynch (Rhonda) of Rutherfordton, NC; three grandchildren, Eric Lynch (Bethany), Darren Lynch and Keila Polidan (Steve). Also surviving are five great-grandchildren and one nephew, Trent Jackson (Melanie) of Enka-Candler, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Coopers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery, Mill Spring, NC with Rev. Donald Hollifield and Rev. Warren Elliott officiating.
