A fire inside a vacant home burned for more than an hour as Omaha firefighters worked to put it out early Monday morning.The house was located near Sahler Street and Commercial Avenue, fire officials said.The fire started around 4:45 a.m. and smoke was still seen billowing from the structure about an hour later.Officials later said the fire started in the basement and spread throughout the house.No injuries were reported.
