Parish, Edward Ronald "Ron" Jr. Age 76 Of Stillwater, MN E. "Ron" Parish, philanthropist, Farmall tractor enthusiast, storyteller and good friend, died on Friday, December 8, 2017. Born on January 22, 1941, to Nellie "Lucille" Parish (deceased) and Edward Parish (deceased) and survived by his brother Bob (Barb), sisters Sandra (Dan), Karen (Ed) and Gayle. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Patricia (Cook) and daughter Anne (Jer) of Duluth, MN. He relished in keeping everyone informed of the happenings and events of family and friends through phone calls. He was fond of saying, "Well, all you can do is love." He is a model of unconditional love. He was a telecommunications teacher for Northwest Kansas Technical College. He owned and managed the Delavan Telephone Company. Visitation will be held at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Avenue N., Stillwater, 55082 on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass is at Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church, 375 Oxford St. N., St. Paul, MN 55104, on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch to follow. Burial will be held at Rice Lake Cemetery in Delavan, MN on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch to follow at DHS. In lieu of flower arrangements, the family asks that you send donations to St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
