COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Big Ten announced Monday morning that Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins was named offensive player of the week.

This award comes after Haskins led Ohio State to a 52-51 overtime win over Maryland. Haskins threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns on 28-of-38 passing. He also ran for 59 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries, including the game-winning touchdown in overtime.

This is the fifth offensive player of the week award of the season for Haskins, tying him with former Buckeyes quarterback Troy Smith, who did it in 2006. Smith went on to win the Heisman Trophy that season.
