Columbia Pictures, the movie studio behind 1988 film “The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking,” is demanding multiple X-rated websites stop using images of the 14-year-old famous freckle-faced, redhead girl to promote the now 39-year-old actress Tami Erin‘s sex tape.
The studio has learned several sites use the image of young Pippi to promote grown-up Erin’s explicit bedroom romp, and they aren’t happy about it, according to TMZ.
Bigwigs at the Hollywood studio have threatened legal action against any site that refuses to take down photos of their beloved Longstocking.
Erin said she originally fought with her ex-boyfriend to keep the sex tape out of stores, but ultimately decided to sell it herself to adult video company Zero Tolerance Entertainment.
Erin reportedly received $10,000 for her recorded romp.
“My ex-boyfriend is trying to release it with or without me,” she told the gossip site in September.
“I’m beating him to the punch.”
The porn website has apparently removed images from the original film, as well as any links for purchasing “The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking,” TMZ reports.
