Smart leads HCC men past Delaware Tech

HCC 69, Delaware Tech 57

Jamichael Smart had 29 points and 12 rebounds to lead Hagerstown Community College past Delaware Technical Community College on Monday night.

Malik Johnson scored nine points for the Hawks (5-6), who led 27-24 at halftime. Kyshon Tate added seven points and Jason Wiggins dished out a game-high five assists in the win.

• BOYS BASKETBALL

Highland View 75, Shenandoah Valley 35

Durrell Hess scored 24 points and seven rebounds for Highland View Academy in its victory over Shenandoah Valley Academy on Sunday.

Michael Coleman had 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Tartans (4-3), while Zyon Wiley had 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists and Langston Crawford added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Westtown 87, Mercersburg 50

POTTSTOWN, Pa. — Amari Cooper, Alonzo Coleman and Pat Di Tullio each scored 12 points for Mercersburg Academy in its loss Sunday at the PSA Cardinals Showcase.
