During Saturday’s UFC 217 fight card the promotion announced its plans for the first quarter of 2018. As of now the plan is for nine fight cards in the first three months of the coming year. That’s an increase of one event from both 2016 and 2017.
Below is the list of dates and locations for the planned events.
On Jan. 14, UFC Fight Night 124 is scheduled for Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.
On Jan. 20, UFC 220 is schedule for TD Garden in Boston, Mass.
On Jan. 27, UFC on FOX 27 is scheduled for Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C.
On Feb. 3, UFC Fight Night 125 is scheduled for Mangueirinho Arena in Belem, Brazil.
On Feb. 10, UFC 221 is scheduled for Perth Arena in Perth, Australia.
On Feb. 18, UFC Fight Night 126 is scheduled for Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.
On Feb. 24, UFC on FOX 28 is scheduled for Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
On March 3, UFC 222 is scheduled for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
On March 17, Fight Night 127 is scheduled O2 Arena in London, England.
UFC Fight Night 124 marks the first time the promotion will visit St. Louis since UFC 19 in March 1999. The most recent event in Boston was UFC Fight Night 81 in Jan. 2016. The Charlotte event marks the promotions first event in that city since UFC Fight Night 21 in March 2010. The Feb. 3 event will be the UFC’s debut event in Belem, Brazil. The Feb. 10 event will also mark the first time the promotion has held a card in Perth, Australia. The Austin event is the first time the UFC has held a card in that city since UFC Fight Night 57 in Nov. 2014. The Amway Center will host its first event since UFC on FOX 17 in Dec. 2015. UFC 222 will be the first event of 2018 to be held at T-Mobile Arena, the promotion is scheduled to hit that arena six times in 2017. The promotion last visited the 02 Arena on March 17, 2017 for UFC Fight Night 107.
