Rexford man in Denver hospital following crash

COLBY — A Rexford man was flown to a Denver hospital after his pickup truck crashed about 12 miles east of Colby early Saturday, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

Brent W. Beckman, 33,  was initially transported to Citizens Medical Center  in Colby, then flown to Swedish Medical Center following the 12:24 a.m. crash in the 3200 block of County Road Q, the KHP report said. A hospital spokesperson was not available for information on his condition.

According to the KHP report, Beckman was driving east on Road Q when his truck left the road to the right. It re-entered the road in a lateral manner and rolled an unknown number of times. Beckman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, according to the report.
