FOUR fire engine crews have battled a blaze at an old school building
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) received multiple calls after smoke was seen issuing from a building on the derelict St Anne's School site in Lewes.
The 10 metre by 20 metre outbuilding was fully alight and firefighters were using hose reel jets to battle it.
An ESFRS spokesman said: "We received the first call around 12.52pm today.
"We have four fire engines in attendance.
"A building 10 metres by 20 metres used as an outbuilding was fully involved in fire and hose reel jets are in use."
