Rylan Clark-Neal is ‘adamant’ Celebrity Big Brother will return because it’s ‘one of the most important shows on TV’

RYAN Clark-Neal is convinced Celebrity Big Brother will return at some point in the future.

The telly favourite says the show - which was ditched by Channel 5 last year - won't be off air for long because it's too important.

Clark-Neal, who hosted Big Brother's spin-off show Bit On The Side, has been teasing fans about the show's return practically non-stop since it ended last year

He told Bang Showbiz: "I'm adamant Big Brother will return, when and where I don't know but I won't rest until it does.

"I think Celebrity Big Brother is one of the most important shows on TV because we get to see people for who they really, really are and you've only got to look at.

"You've only got to look at the events over the last seven years, and how it has changed the perception of people who are genuinely really nice and people who actually aren't."

He credits the show - which he won in 2013  - for allowing him to show off his true personality after he shot to fame in The X Factor in 2012.

He said: "My proudest career moment was when I won Celebrity Big Brother because after what I'd been through on The X Factor, CBB gave me the chance to show everyone who I really was.

"I was actually quite normal, so yeah I'd say that was a proud moment because I thought if I got nothing from that, at least I'd be able to show everyone who I really was."

The 30-year-old superfan of the show has previously tweeted "Big Brother is always watching" after the show was binned by Channel 5.

He also declared that it was his new year's resolution to bring the programme back.

The presenter, who built a Diary Room from the show in his house, shared a picture of the show's famous eye.

Predictably, that sent followers into a frenzy.

However, if the show is coming back, it doesn't look likely to return to Elstree now there's a big replica Buckingham Palace where the stage once was.
