Bonnie J. Mohr, 81, Superior, WI resident, died Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Stardusk House Assisting Living Center. She was born on November 24, 1936 in Duluth, MN to Chester Leander and Eleanor Haugen. Her stepfather, Carl Ekman raised her from the time she was a toddler.

Bonnie was a CNA for over twenty-five years at Chaffey Nursing Home and activities assistant at Villa Marina for ten years.

She married David Mohr in 1957 and they celebrated fifty-eight years of marriage before his passing in 2015.

Bonnie will be remembered as a creative and crafty lady. She enjoyed gardening, camping, house boating, RV traveling, fishing and hunting. She loved spending time with her family and friends and in her younger days she was the caretaker of the neighborhood.

Bonnie is survived by one daughter, Sandy (Mark) Fulda; three sons, Scott (Mary) Mohr and Mike (Diana) Mohr, both of Superior, WI and Mark (Pam) Mohr, Maple, WI; thirteen grandchildren, Brian (Cassie) Fulda, Nick (Katrina) Fulda, Whitney (Zac) Fredericks, all of Superior, WI; Steven (Jessica) Mohr, Iron River, WI, Stacey (Jesse) Minter, Jake (Stefanie) Mohr, Haylie (James) Strum, Lindsey (Lewie) Welch, all of Superior, WI, Zak (Ashley) Mohr, Foxboro, WI, Stephanie Zowin and Keagon Mohr, both of Superior, WI, Shane Salo, Brule, WI and Shilo (Marissa) Rutzen, Foxboro, WI; her nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and her sister-in-laws; Kay (Pete) Olson and Patty Ekman and Jan Casey and a brother-in-law, Gary (Sally) Mohr all of Duluth, MN;

She is preceded in death by her husband David, brother Gary Ekman and her parents and Chester Leander in 1938.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service .
