New York-Based Shake Shack Coming To Oak Brook
The restaurant will serve up Angus burgers, hot dogs, and frozen custard treats.
OAK BROOK, IL — A popular New York restaurant is ready to make its way to Oak Brook to serve up its famous burgers, shakes, and fries. Shake Shack is hoping to open its doors before the end of 2018, according to Chicago Tribune.
The famous burger joint will make its home at 1950 Spring Rd., giving diners a more laidback and speedy alternative the Cheesecake Factory and Pinstripes.
The menu at Shake Shack centers around Angus beef burgers, Chicago-style Vienna beef hot dogs, fried chicken sandwiches, and other quick bites, served alongside crinkle cut fries. Diners can wash down dinner with a frozen custard shake in such inventive flavors as chocolate truffle cookie dough or hazelnut brown butter streusel blended with citrus-infused raspberries.

The Oak Brook location will also serve up beer and wine and Chicago Tribune reports Oak Brook Mayor Gopal Lalmalani approved Shake Shack's liquor license at the Sept. 11 village meeting.
