A new ranking from NYup.com uses median closing home sale prices to rank the 60 zip codes where homes sold for the cheapest in 2017 in Upstate NY.

In some areas, auctions, foreclosures and other factors drive median home sale prices down below $50,000, according to data from PropertyShark.com.

Five zip codes around Central NY made the new ranking. Take a look:
