[Photo: NAPVA]FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Athletes will be soaring to new heights in Old Town Clovis.
World-class athletes from across the country will be in Clovis on July 20th, as they compete for the top spot at the 24th Annual North American Pole Vaulting Championships.
Old Town Clovis could see at least 10,000 people watching six teams of pole vaulters, competing for highest jump.
The pole vaulting championships take place inside the Friday Night Farmer’s Market at 4th and Pullasky.
The competition will start about 4:45pm, with the official opening ceremony happening between 6:30 and 7:00 pm.
