Terhold D. Hegney

Terhold D. Hegney, 68, Mandan, ND, left this world, to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, after 18 month battle with esophageal cancer. From dust man came, and unto dust he shall return. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2015, at the American Legion Hall, Butte, ND. Please join us in giving him honor and tribute. A private family burial will follow after the service in Kief Cemetery. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah, Mandan; two sons; Dean (Svetlana) Hegney, Boulder, Colorado, and Darin (Michele) Hegney, Las Vegas, NV. His surviving siblings all reside in North Dakota; Roy (Debbie) Hegney Williston; Jerry (Mary) Hegney, Fargo, Ken (Alvina) Hegney, Bergen; and sister, Carol (Delwayne) Herr, Burlington. He is also survived by his adopted daughter, Brittney Hegney, of NC; and two step-sons, Alex Schwan, Minot, and Sgt. Anton Schwan, USMC, Stockton, CA; and his grandchildren, Massimo, Chantele, and Christian.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Faith Hegney; his youngest brother, Dewey Bill Hegney; and his first wife, Shirley Hanson.
