Surprise! Like his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II last week, Prince Harry popped up in someone else's selfie when he decided to photobomb three New Zealand officials at Monday's Commonwealth Games.

The 29-year-old royal redhead, who was seated two rows behind the officials, gave two thumbs up and flashed a huge smile as he posed behind unsuspecting rugby sevens coach Sir Gordon Tietjens, Sport Manawatu chief executive Trevor Shailer and Massey University professor Emeritus Gary Hermansson.

Massey University shared the fun snapshot via its Twitter account, writing, "Royal photobomb alert! Prince Harry with our Prof. Emeritus Gary Hermansson at #Glasgow2014." (Prince Harry won't likely see the tweet, however, as he thinks the social networking site has contributed to his "invasion of privacy.")

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton appeared quite animated during the Commonwealth Games. At one point, the future King and Queen of England each made Zoolander's famous Blue Steel face at the same exact time.
