Joe Walsh Slams Fox News and Republicans For ‘Despicable’ Attacks on Mueller: ‘Bullsh*t’

Joe Walsh has had it with the Robert Mueller bashing over at Fox News.

The former GOP Rep. and current radio host — hardly a friend of the left — tore into Fox News on Twitter Friday for what he views to be “despicable” attacks on the credibility of special counsel Mueller.

“This attack by @FoxNews & Republicans on Robert Mueller’s integrity is despicable,” Walsh wrote. “And don’t tell me you’re just attacking the investigation, not Mueller. Bullshit. It’s HIS investigation. When u call it a witchhunt, you’re blaming him.”

Bob Mueller has always put America first.

Walsh did not name Sean Hannity or Fox News analyst Gregg Jarrett in his Tweet, but it’s likely he was referring to those two, among others at the network.

Wednesday night, Jarrett went off on a wacky tirade against Mueller and the FBI.

“Mueller has been using the FBI as a political weapon,” Jarrett said. He added, “The FBI has become America’s secret police. Secret surveillance, wiretapping, intimidation, harassment and threats. It’s like the old KGB that comes for you in the dark of night, banging through your door.”

One night earlier, Hannity blasted the special counsel.

“Mueller is frankly a disgrace to the American justice system and has put the country now on the brink of becoming a banana republic,” Hannity said.

Looks like Joe Walsh just might have picked his side in Steve Bannon‘s GOP Civil War.
