COCHECTON, NY — An unidentified 19-year-old male from Ridgefield Park, NJ, became on Thursday the second person in less than a week — and the fifth this summer — to drown in the Upper Delaware River, authorities said yesterday.
Cochecton police said the latest victim was with friends Thursday afternoon when he went under and failed to resurface.
