Plenty of pundits have predicted Tom Brady's production will "fall off a cliff" as the Patriots quarterback gets closer to age 45, but rapper Lil Wayne isn't about to make the same mistake.

The rapper made an appearance on FOX Sports' "Undisputed" on Thursday and discussed New England's sustained success over the last 19 years with Brady under center. He gave a simple, on-point explanation of why that success is bound to continue.

“It’s Tom Brady and it’s Bill Belichick. It’s all we know and it’s all we’ve seen,” Lil Wayne said. “We have no reason, other than the Chiefs, you can be happy about that … we have seen nothing else.”

As for if he believes Brady can accomplish his goal of playing at a high level until age 45, Lil Wayne says he'll "never bet against him."

Watch the exchange below:

Whether it be through historic Super Bowl comebacks or MVP seasons at age 40, Brady is constantly proving his naysayers wrong. So that's a wise answer on Lil Wayne's part.

The real question is whether Brady's age 45 season will be in a Patriots uniform. The six-time Super Bowl champion's unique contract situation has posed many questions about his future as the Pats' signal-caller.

For now, at least, Brady is focused on bringing championship No. 7 to New England.
