This evening a star-studded crowd assembled in West London to watch Christopher Bailey present his final Burberry collection at London Fashion Week.

After seventeen years at the helm of the brand, the designer has not only managed to revamp its iconic check, but has also acquired quite a few famous fans.

Alexa Chung took her seat on the front row next to Poppy Delevingne wearing an eye-catching red trench coat.

Meanwhile, Keira Knightley opted for an androgynous tulle skirt and blazer combo and Sienna Miller sported full-on Burberry plaid.

However, all eyes were on supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell who managed to slip into the dark venue in their head-to-toe Burberry ensembles almost unnoticed.

Other celebrities in attendance included Naomi Watts, Zendaya, Idris Elba, Michelle Dockery, Jourdan Dunn, Elcin Sangu, Paris Jackson and a whole host of musicians.

Over the years Bailey has been known for showcasing up-and-coming talent and has helped launch the careers of James Bay, George Ezra and Paloma Faith, who all tuned up wearing coordinating ensembles.

The show also turned out to be quite a family affair, esteemed Vogue editor Anna Wintour sat next to her daughter Bee Shaffer. Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher was accompanied by his son, upcoming model Lennon Gallagher.

And it wasn't just the front row which boasted a star-studded line-up, Model of the Year Adwoa Aboah opened the show in a graffiti print hoodie.

Meanwhile, Cara Delevingne, who had previously retired from the fashion industry poignantly closed the catwalk wearing a pride flag cape - the entire collection having been dedicated to LGBTQ+ communities.

Unsurprisingly, the finale was followed by a standing ovation, proving the enormous impact Bailey has had on the Burberry brand over the years.
