The State Attorney’s Office released cruiser dash-cam video of the Orlando police officer-involved shooting in the Milk District from earlier this year.

The suspect, Danielle Evans, who turned 35 on Tuesday, is accused of driving a stolen car at officers.

The video shows police chasing Evans’ vehicle after she fled from a traffic stop around noon Jan. 29. She turned into a parking lot near South Street and South Bumby Avenue, police said.

After she was blocked into the parking lot, she put the car in reverse and rammed a cruiser, the video shows. She then went forward and rammed another cruiser, police said.

She then went into reverse again and nearly hit an officer.

That’s when officers opened fire. She was shot in the shoulder. She was taken to the Orange County Jail where she is being held without bond.

The officers were identified as Sgt. Steve Farris, Officer Justin Lay and Officer Clarence Eide. They were not injured. Farris is an 18-year Orlando police veteran. Lay has worked for the department for seven years. Eide has been employed there for eight years. All three officers are back on the job.

Police said an “elderly” man was carjacked about by two men and a woman earlier in the day near the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Conway Road.

The suspects implied they had a weapon, police said, but it’s unclear if they were armed. Officers spotted the vehicle several hours later.

Evans is charged with attempted murder of a law-enforcement officer, carjacking and fleeing and eluding law enforcement. Her next court hearing is scheduled for June 29.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the officer shooting.

Orlando officers have been involved in four shootings this year, one of which was fatal. No officers were injured.
