At least 2 dozen dogs removed from former foster home accused of hiding child abuse
At least two dozen dogs have been removed from a former foster home in Oxford where 5 Investigates uncovered horrific child abuse allegations that were hidden for years.
Police and animal control officials executed a search warrant at the home of Ray and Susan Blouin.
Sources told 5 Investigates that when police went to arrest Susan Blouin this week on charges of sexually assaulting one of her former foster children, they noticed several dogs and dog crates in the home.
Officials told 5 Investigates that the Blouins don't have a kennel license, which means they can only have four dogs in the home, but police found more than two dozen inside.
The health of the dogs is now being evaluated.
The Blouins run "Bella Bulldogges" and currently breed Old English bulldogs. They've been breeding dogs for decades.
5 Investigates captured video of the Blouins moving dogs and crates in 2018.
This week, Susan Blouin and a former boyfriend, Philip Paquette, were charged with sexually assaulting a foster child in the home nearly 20 years ago.
Blouin's husband, Ray, is also facing assault charges involving a different foster child who lived in the Oxford home.
Following the criminal charges last week, the state also suspended Susan Blouin's nursing license.
