Adam Thielen joins Calvin Johnson with NFL mark for receiving excellence
Here’s the latest sign that you’re probably not paying enough attention to Adam Thielen.
The Minnesota Vikings receiver entered Sunday as the NFL’s leader in receiving yardage with 67 catches for 822 yards and five touchdowns.
Another 100-yard game for Adam Thielen
Sunday was more of the same for Thielen, who logged seven catches for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 30-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints. It’s a very familiar stat line for Thielen who is proving to be one of the most reliable weapons in the NFL.
It marks the eighth straight game that Thielen has tallied 100 receiving yards. If that sounds impressive, it’s because it is. Until Sunday, Calvin Johnson was the only receiver in NFL history to have achieved the feat.

Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, DeAndre Hopkins and Odell Beckham are names usually bandied about when debating the best pass catchers in football.
Thielen is demanding that you include him in that conversation.
