Bleacher Report

Michael Vick is entering a new chapter in his career as he enters free agency this offseason. So it's not surprising he has off-the-field plans brewing.

The quarterback announced on his Twitter account that he is starting a new business named "Wave Masterz.' Joining him in starting the company is rapper/actor/TV host Bow Wow.

UPDATE: Tuesday, February 25, 8:53 a.m. ET

Bow Wow told TMZ Sports that he will no longer be in business with Vick due to other commitments:

"It was supposed to go down," Bow Wow said ... "but all deals don't go down the way you want them to."

Bow Wow says he didn't want to spread himself too thin -- since he's already involved in a clothing line, a vodka line and hosting "106 and Park" on BET.

The new website is still under construction, but Wave Masterz appears to be a hair product company, selling things like brushes, skullcaps and pomade.

They already have a company design:

While the company isn't active yet, it's great to see athletes step out and create new opportunities for themselves.
