'Scorpion' Star Katharine McPhee Breaks Up With Co-Star Elyes Gabel

"Scorpion co-stars" Katharine McPhee and Elyes Gabel are dating behind the scenes for over a year now. In fact, they have been spotted at the USTA National Tennis Center cuddling each other.

Their intimacy has been going on for almost two years now since they starred together in the "Scorpion" series.

However in recent reports, the couple is said to have split. After two years of dating and being intimate with each other, they have amicably parted ways. The pair though is still together in the CBS series and sees each other everyday at work. It is reported that they remain friends.

The Split

One of the inside sources has reported that the couple actually still love each other but they just can't seem to work things out. It was also added in the report that the two started dating in 2014 and decided to part ways last month.

The last time the couple was seen together was at the "Scorpion" photo call which was a part of the 56th Monte Carlo TV Festival in Monte-Carlo, Monaco on June 14.

Katharine even shared on Instagram lately a photo of the cast which was from the press day and captioned the post: "Love this team! Missing the other two but still!"

"Scorpion" has been renewed for a third season and will premiere this coming October 3, 2016. In the series, Elyes plays the role of the Team Scorpion leader, Walter O'Brien, and Katharine on the other hand, portrays the role of Paige Dineen who is a single mother to a boy genius. She is also a struggling waitress in her character. In the series, she is recruited into Team Scorpion who are a group of geniuses that take on threats that the government is not able to handle.

While reports are out about the split, both Katharine and Elyes have not announced this incident publicly yet. Furthermore, Katharine just finalized her divorce from ex-husband Nick Cokas in February. She has filed this divorce in May 2014 and decided then to end their marriage. The divorce reports came right after she was seen kissing her "Smash" director Michael Morris.

Katharine McPhee was a finalist in the American Idol where she placed second to winner Taylor Hicks. She released her latest album in 2015. Katharine is the singer of "Lick My Lips."
