Obituary: David Gregory Warde, 51, of Sherman

SHERMAN, CT — David Gregory Warde, age 51, of Longwood, FL passed away on Wednesday August 22, 2018. He was born September 8, 1966 in Bayshore, NY.

David is survived by his wife of 25 years Robin, daughter Miranda and son Jaiden; father, David Warde; his siblings, sister Jeanne Blore and brother Jeffrey. David grew up in Sherman, graduating from New Milford High School where he excelled on and off the wrestling mat, soccer pitch and baseball diamond. He would go on to graduate from Old Dominion University before setting forth on a successful career in marketing and graphic design.

Beyond his family and friends, David touched the lives of many within the Longwood, FL community as a coach of youth baseball teams. "Coach Dave" was a natural leader who dedicated countless hours teaching youngsters the right way to play the game. More importantly, teaching them to have fun and taking pride in everything they do on-and-off the field.
