Missing Arlington Teen Considered Endangered, Police Said

Shelton Canady, 14, is considered endangered and may be in need of medical services, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — The Arlington County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old juvenile.

Shelton Canady was last seen at about 3:30 p.m. Monday while leaving his home in the 3000 block of N. Pollard St. Canady is considered endangered and may be in need of medical services, police said.

Police describe Canady as a white male with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 5’4 and weighs 110 pounds. Canady was last seen wearing black and yellow patterned pants and a black and blue hoodie. He was reported to not be wearing shoes at the time he left his residence, police said.
