Wood won the next three holes with two birdies and a par to take a 2-up lead through 10 holes. Eckroat won the 11th with a birdie before Wood answered with a birdie at the 12th to move back to a 2-up advantage.

The Edmond, Okla. native closed out the match with an eagle at the par-5 16th.
