Potter County Commissioners’ Court:

The Commission is expected to consider and act upon approving vehicles for participation in the Enterprise Fleet Management program; consider adoption of a tax rate of .68500 per $100 valuation for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2018; to consider and act upon a proposal for the Sheriff to take possession of one or more vehicles on loan from the U.S. Marshal’s service; consider an agreement for Sheriff’s Office to access the First Responder Network Authority; consider and act upon becoming a member of TechShare Local Government Corporation;

The Council is expected to consider the purchase of 100 three-cubic yard solid waste dumpsters; consider an award for asbestos abatement and demolition at 1328 SE 10th Ave. to Howell Sand Company in the amount of $74,121; consider purchase and construction of a vehicle storage facility for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program contingent to authorization by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to use current fiscal year grant funds; and consider an award of the construction contract to J. Lee Milligan, lnc. in the amount of $1,104,726.85 for the milling and overlay of various streets comprised of Bell St. from 34th Ave. to Hillside Rd., as well as drainage improvements at the intersection of Bell St. and 45th Ave.
