Tesla Model 3 in stores — toy stores, as new Hot Wheels release

You can go out and buy a Tesla Model 3 now for about $1 or so, as long as you don’t mind it fitting in the palm of your hand.

Hot Wheels has released its toy version of the Model 3 as part of its “HW Green Speed” collection. While its availability is listed as “end April” on the Hot Wheels Collectors website, it also lists today as the new release date, and it’s already appearing in stores.

The Hot Wheels description of the Model 3:

“Dual Motor electric technology propels the Performance version of this fastback sedan to amazing speeds! Model 3 has so much torque, the one-speed transmission never changes gears.”

The Model 3 is listed as a model in the Hot Wheels HW Green Speed collection. Past editions of the collection have included the Tesla Roadster and Model S.

If your taste in models is a little pricier — and larger — than this, Tesla also sells diecast model versions of its cars on its website. It introduced its $250 diecast Model 3 last month.
