Woman Robbed TCF Bank In River Forest On New Year's Eve: FBI

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the woman's arrest.

RIVER FOREST, IL --- The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying a female who robbed a TCF bank branch in River Forest on New Year's Eve. The robbery took place at the TCF branch located at 7525 West Lake St., according to a post on the FBI website.

Authorities say the woman, who was wearing heavy winter clothing, approached the teller window at approximately 10:50 a.m. and demanded cash. The teller complied and the woman fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a female in her mid-30s to mid-40s who is between 5' and 5'2" tall and weighs around 175 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black winter hat, a black coat, black sunglasses, and a gray scarf.

She should be considered armed and dangerous, FBI authorities advise.
