Miami Heat

The Heat spent a good portion of the season at or around .500, but the team’s recent stretch of wins has brought their season record to 25-18 SU and 19-22-2 ATS.

Miami’s defense is the fourth best in the NBA in points allowed, giving up 101.8 points per game, while the Heat’s offense ranks fourth worst in the league, averaging only 101.1 points per game. Over their last eight games the Heat have performed at a slightly higher clip, averaging 106.5 points per game.

In their last seven games as a road underdog, the Heat are 5-2 SU and ATS per the OddsShark NBA Database.

Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo has taken a major step forward this season and emerged as one of the top stars in the game today. The “Greek Freak” is averaging career highs in points per game (28.3) and rebounds (10.1) while also leading the team in assists with 4.5 per game.

Milwaukee still has work to do to take this franchise to the next level, but the 23-year-old is clearly an excellent starting point to build around. The Bucks are looking to snap out of a 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS slump against the Heat.

Wednesday’s total is set at 203 points. The UNDER is 5-0 in Milwaukee’s last five games.

When these two teams met in Miami on Sunday, Milwaukee matched its lowest point total of the season, shooting just 31.6 percent from the floor in a 97-79 loss to the Heat. The Bucks bounced back from that loss with a 104-95 upset win in Washington on Monday and should be fired up for this quick shot at redemption at home Wednesday night.
