SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – Central Fire Protection District launched a new website with updated features designed to improve services to residents and visitors.

Central Fire Protection District invites locals to visit www.centralfpd.com to explore the updates. New features include:

  • 'Notify Me' - Customized text message and/or email alerts for job postings, Paid Call Firefighter Program hiring information, and Board Agendas and Minutes
  • 'Forms Center' - Web-based incident report requests, public records requests, school tour requests, ride-along requests, and fire hazard complaints
  • 'Alert Center' - real-time emergency alerts via text message and email
  • Redesigned Navigation - find what you're looking for quickly and easily, or use the 'How Do I...' feature for quick answers to commonly requested topics

Central Fire Protection District completed their website redesign project in collaboration with CivicPlus, a company that specializes in website design that emphasizes transparency, usability, functionality, unique design and Web 2.0 technologies for local governments.
