AMERICAN CANYON >> A man was arrested for shoplifting on Thursday night.
At approximately 7:15, the Walgreen’s on American Canyon Road reported a theft in progress, police said.
The suspect, Stephen Anthony Finney II, 38, out of Oakland, was detained by police after his car was pulled over, and he was identified by the Walgreen’s manager.
Police allegedly found between $400 and $500 worth of stolen property in his vehicle.
Finney was arrested for petty theft and an outstanding felony arrest warrant.
