Morgan Harrington's Mother Mourns Murdered Daughter's "Lovely Bones"

Gil Harrington repeated the sentiment in an interview with the Today Show, when she said that she has looked at pictures of Morgan from pre-natal sonograms to photos of her remains and saw "lovely bones, a lovely girl."
Morgan Harrington went missing Oct. 13 after she attended a Metallica concert in Charlottesville with friends and wound up outside of the arena without her ticket or car keys. She called her friends and said she would find her own way home - that was the last anyone heard from her.

Her body was found three months later in a remote part of a farm, just 10 miles from the arena. The area is not easy to get to by car, which further convinced Morgan's father, Dan Harrington, that someone local, who was familiar with the area, committed the crime.
"I've said all along that someone local did this," Dan Harrington told the Today Show, "Someone has to be comfortable with knowing the area, knowing where to go."
The Harringtons also spoke about finding closure and peace with the recovery of their daughter's body, saying that now they can begin to heal.
"I know no one is hurting now, she is beyond pain," Gil Harrington told the morning show.
Police believe now that Morgan Harrington died not long after she went missing.
