Huge Marx Dollhouse w/Florida Room & Furniture Marx-a-Mansion Tin Litho Rare Pool & Car 100+ pieces. Marx Mansion with Florida Room and Furniture. Front of house, Curtains in all windows. Inside the house. I love the rugs and floor designs. Living room with staircase. See the actual working doorbell next to the door. Love that wallpaper and the curtain valences. I just love those floors. Great prancing unicorn in the nursery! Another interior shot. Great carpets in the living and Florida rooms. Diamond patterns on the downstairs curtains and flowers upstairs. Inside the Florida Room. Jalousie windows and a winter painting. Living room, laundry and master bedroom furnishings. Ironing board folds. I imagine the walkway is pretty hard to find, this one is in very good condition. Thunderbird like car, bathroom, kitchen and nursery furnishings. Patio, Florida Room, swing set, sandbox, swimming pool, even pool toys! Another view of everything including fence. There is even table service for four, kitchen utensils and a waffle maker! Here is a Marx Mansion Tin Litho Dollhouse. This was first produced in 1961. Also known as the Marx-A-Mansion Dream House. This is the early version, as later versions had painted curtains instead of the real thing. This is also the deluxe version with the Florida Room. It's almost four feet wide and in excellent condition. The paint is very vibrant and clean. Complete with an entire house worth of furniture. This was the largest in the Marx Dollhouse line. This collection includes optional accessories like the curtains and swimming pool. I have researched this set and am confident that all pieces are original Marx furnishings and appropriate to this house although I am not an expert. Here's what is included. All pieces in very good lightly played with condition as noted below: Eight Room Tin Litho Dollhouse with dormers including Florida room, walkway, porch and "wrought iron" supports, cloth curtains and valences for each room, working door and doorbell. Patio set with umbrella, table and two chairs. Swing set with slide, sandbox, teeter totter with boy and girl figures. Swimming pool with diving board, diving boy, sitting girl, floating duck, dog, sailboat, life preserver, diving board and ladder. (Swimming pool has two small tears, but still presents well. You can even fill it with water!) Corner bath, hamper, toilet and sink (sink missing one leg, toilet has been repaired) Kitchen range, double sink, free standing cabinet, refrigerator, table and four chairs. Master bedroom suite with double bed, highboy, makeup vanity with bench, stuffed chair, ottoman, tall lamp and night stand Dining room set with buffet, tall hutch, table, two arm chairs and two matching chairs. Living room set with High Back chair, stuffed chair, sofa, half-round coffee table and tall lamp. Florida room furniture including love seat, card table, Hi-Fi record player, TV combo, and blue chair and bookshelf end table. (blue chair has small crack and end table missing two legs) Laundry room set with washing machine, folding ironing board, iron, basket and laundry sink Nursery suite with playpen, dresser changing table/ and potty chair Thunderbird car (axles are loose but car is complete). Dinner service for four including a cooked turkey, four plates, four cups, three saucers, two candelabara coffee pot Kitchen items waffle iron, covered pot, frying pan, spatula, mixing spoon and dust pan. (I photographed the kitchen items on the card table from the Florida room) Family figures marked Baby, Sister, Mother and Father (Looks like the dog chewed Dad) Three piece picket fence. A cloth doily and a lace cushion. These are the only two items I could not confirm as Marx. Please look at photos carefully, I've arranged the furniture more or less by room except for the Florida Room's Pink - and blue chair.
