(KSL News) -- Country Music Star Lee Ann Womack is in Utah to perform a private concert tonight for a Farmington woman and 300 of her friends.
Amy Burton Moore won an essay contest sponsored by Sparkle Paper Towels about what makes her town outshine the rest. Moore says they had just moved in when her husband lost his job and the family of six was desperate. She says her Farmington neighbors left anonymous gifts of food and money on the porch.
She wrote, "more than the town or houses alone, it’s the light emanating from within that outshines the rest -- the light of angels on earth, in the form of loving neighbors."
Amy Burton Moore, Contest Winner: "They are angels on earth. In fact I found out that the one that gave the most food -- I had to find out privately -- are the ones that had the least. So it’s very touching and you want to perpetuate that. I’m glad I had these tickets to hand out to say thanks. Thanks for touching our lives."
Moore has also given tickets to families with the Utah Downs Syndrome Foundation.
