OSSAA sets date, locations for state semifinals

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association is making Black Friday more entertaining.

Every high school football playoff game next week will be played Friday night, including all state semifinal matchups.

In Class 5A, No. 1 Carl Albert and No. 3 Collinsville — both undefeated — will kick off at 7 p.m. at Owasso High School. No. 2 undefeated Ardmore and No. 5 Tulsa Kelley face off at Western Heights at the same time.

Class 4A’s matchups are also spread out, with No. 1 Tuttle and No. 2 Poteau meeting in another battle of undefeated teams at 7 p.m. at Jenks High School. No. 4 Clinton and No. 5 Bethany face off at Putnam City High School.

Class 3A will feature No. 1 Heritage Hall and No. 6 Lincoln Christian at Sapulpa High School, while No. 2 Sulphur and No. 4 Kingfisher meet at Edmond Santa Fe High School.

Class C will be played at two different Division II campuses, with No. 1 Buffalo and No. 3 Southwest Covenant playing at Northwestern Oklahoma State and No. 2 Tipton and No. 4 Pond Creek-Hunter playing at Southwestern Oklahoma State.

The OSSAA announced Thursday that the Class 6A-I state championship game will be 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the University of Tulsa. The date and location of Class 6A-II’s matchup between No. 1 Stillwater and No. 2 Bixby will be determined Monday.
