The grocery chain Save Mart Supermarkets will be closing two Sacramento-area stores in March, Save Mart Supermarkets spokesperson Nannette Miranda said in a statement.The stores on Marconi Avenue in Sacramento and Greenback Lane in Orangevale will be closed by March 19, Miranda said."These were difficult decisions to make, but both locations have struggled to meet the needs of the market. The closures will allow us to reinvest in our business," Miranda said. "We thank our employees for all they’ve done, and we’re working to place them in our 11 other Save Mart stores in the region."
