Westborough Police Assist In Whitinsville Drug Bust

The bust netted more than a pound of cannabis, plus cocaine and suspected opioids, according to police.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A group of local police teamed up this week to search a Whitinsville home as part of a drug investigation.

A Westborough police K9 dog responded to the Wednesday search along with Northbridge police and the Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force. The search at a home along B Street yielded a pound of marijuana, cocaine, opioid pills and about $6,000, according to Northbridge police.

Police also arrested a 27-year-old man at the home. He was charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to distribute, possession of a class A drug with intent to distribute, possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine.
