Broken Yolk set to open Monday, June 25 in Costa Mesa

The Broken Yolk Cafe will open Monday, June 25 in Costa Mesa.

The former home of the Turnip Rose, a 3,734 square-foot space on Harbor Boulevard in the Mesa Verde Center, has a patio that should prove popular. The chain, which started in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego and has restaurants in Southern California and Las Vegas, serves breakfast, brunch and lunch with eye-opener beverages such as mimosas and bloody marys, steak and eggs, create-your-own omelettes, sandwiches, pancakes and specialties such as Border Benedict, two poached eggs on sweet corn cakes with carne asada and poblano chili sauce.
