Bald Eagles Spotted Outside Library In Elgin
ELGIN, Ill. (CBS) -- The eagle has landed – several of them, in fact – in the Fox Valley.
As WBBM Newsradio's Regine Schlesinger reports, the bald eagles can be heard clearly at the Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin. Staff and visitors began noticing that the birds were back for the first time since they showed up last year.

Denise Raleigh, the library spokeswoman, saw them.
"We're seeing some swooping," she said.
One person posting on the library Facebook page counted at least seven of the birds.
Raleigh says people are flocking to see the eagles.
"We really take advantage of being in this wonderful, beautiful setting over the river, and this is just a wonderful added, unique attraction," she said.
Eagles supposedly prefer cold weather, but showed up on a nearly 60-degree day Tuesday in the trees outside the library.
The staff is providing binoculars who want to try to spot the eagles.
