After several leaks and rumors, Intel finally revealed several launch and release details for its upcoming Intel 11th Generation Rocket Lake Desktop CPU series. The complete line-up and specifications of the Core i9 and Core i7 SKUs are now available too.

Launch And Release Date Details

Intel finally confirmed that the 11th Generation Rocket Lake Desktop CPU series would launch March 30. On Twitter, an Intel spokesperson confirmed its upcoming desktop processors' launch schedule, along with release details while responding to Hardwareluxx. On March 16 at 8:00 a.m. PT, Intel is set to launch the desktop processor series, including product information launch, pre-order and advertising.

Meanwhile, performance review, benchmark and sales are scheduled March 30 at 6:00 a.m. PT. The confirmation comes following an issue claiming that some retailers, particularly, Mindfactory, are selling the Intel 11th Generation Core CPUs before their official release. Intel confirmed that it is aware of such an incident and revealed that it is currently conducting an ongoing dialogue with retailers and partners.

Core i9 and Core i7 Lineup And Specs

A recent report from Wccftech shared details of Intel Core i9 and Core i7 Rocket lake Desktop processors' line-up and specifications. Citing one of its sources, the report claimed that Intel is preparing 10 SKUs in both Core i9 and Core i7 lineup.

The Intel Core i9 series comes with Core i9 11900K, Core i9 11900KF, Core i9 11900T, Core i9 11900 and Core i9 11900F. Meanwhile, the Intel Core i7 lineup comprises Core i7 11900K, Core i7 11900KF, Core i7 11900T, Core i7 11900 and Core i7 11900T.

The flagship Intel Core i9 features a single-core boost of 5.3 GHz with an all-core of 4.6 GHz. The Core i7 SKUs are expected to feature an all-core boost of around 4.6 GHz with a single-core boost of 5.0 GHz. The Core i7 family is a lower binned SKU that will cost a little less than the Intel Core i9 series.
