Kevin Durant to make Lakers decision
Kevin Durant will not rush his free agency decision of whether to join the Los Angeles Lakers decision next summer, ESPN insider Ramona Shelburne claims.
“I thought he was leaving Oklahoma and he ended up leaving Oklahoma,” Shelburne told ESPN Radio about Durant, who can become a free agent next year.
“I think he’s leaving Golden State, I don’t know though. I have the same feeling this time because its in the wind, a lot of it is just gossip.
“I learned enough about Kevin Durant over the years that this guy is very thoughtful, it (his decision) will not be made just on a whim, its going to be very deep for him, but we wont know what the deep part is going to be until the last minute.”

Kawhi Leonard to Lakers OFF
Kawhi Leonard will not join the Lakers next summer, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd reckons.
“I’ve been told by two people that I trust in the NBA that Kawhi Leonard is not going to the Lakers,” Cowherd said on The Herd.
“So Laker fans get over it, he’s not coming.
“If he comes out west, he’s coming to the Clippers.”
LeBron James pressure
LeBron James’ arrival at the Lakers has put immediate pressure on Luke Walton, ESPN’s Max Kellerman claims.
“LeBron James I don’t think here is trying to stage a mutiny,” Kellerman said on ESPN’s First Take. “He is doing what he has done since he left Miami.
“He’s doing the thing that he did to David Blatt, to Ty Lue.
“It’s no knock against those coaches. I think David Blatt is a good coach; Ty Lue is a good coach and Luke Walton is a good coach.
“But LeBron takes control. He is going to play this bunch into the playoffs for better or worse.

“Maybe he will trust the veterans more than he ought to and as a result there will be slower development among the younger players.
“Luke Walton pre-dates LeBron, pre-dates Magic so he has to be great to keep his job.
“That is okay, it is the Lakers’ standard. You should have to be great to keep the Lakers job but this says more about LeBron because it was the thing with Blatt, with Ty Lue.
“This is what LeBron does. He takes control of the team.”
