You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Dan Auerbach & The Easy Eye Sound Revue featuring Robert Finley, Shannon Shaw, Shannon and the Clams @ Brooklyn Steel
Dan Auerbach has taken his Easy Eye Sound label on the road and Shannon Shaw of Shannon & The Clams, and blues artist Robert Finley will be joining Dan during his set, in addition to their own opening sets.

MGMT @ Sony Hall
Following three Brooklyn shows, MGMT are the featured guests at this Grand Opening of new Times Square venue Sony Hall.

of Montreal, Mega Bog, Potted Plant @ Knockdown Center
Neo-psych staples of Montreal are fresh off releasing a new album, White Is Relic/Irrealis Mood, and they’re currently supporting it on tour with career-spanning sets, so expect tons of older favorites tonight in addition to new stuff. If you’re going, it’s worth getting there in time for Mega Bog.

Courtney Marie Andrews, Matt Dorrien @ Mercury Lounge
Courtney Marie Andrews just released her first album for Fat Possum, which is influenced by a handful of folk, rock, country, gospel, and soul sounds of decades past, but Courtney makes it sound fresh.

Lord Huron @ Le Poisson Rouge
Lord Huron have a new Dave Fridmann-mixed album due out on 4/20, and going by the lead singles, it sounds like they got a little more psychedelic this time around. They’ve got three much bigger NYC shows once the album is out (two of which are already sold out), but tonight they’ll preview the new songs with this intimate show.

Oceanator, Eliza and the Organix, Miss Olithea @ Goldsounds
Brooklyn musician Elise Okusami has a very promising EP on the way via Tiny Engines, and a full-band release show coming up too, but first she plays this solo show tonight.

Lo Moon, Kraus @ Bowery Ballroom
Lo Moon headline this show, and opening is the promising shoegaze band Kraus, who are worth checking out.

Bing & Ruth, Alice Boman @ Murmrr Ballroom
David Moore’s minimalist ensemble Bing & Ruth just released No Home of the Mind, their first album for 4AD, and play tonight with Swedish folk artists Alice Boman.

Soft Kill, Choir Boy @ Monty Hall
Portland’s Soft Kill make classic-sounding early-’80s goth a la The Chameleons (whose frontman guested on one of their songs), Red Lorry Yellow Lorry or Sisters of Mercy. Their new album, Choke, is due out in May via Profound Lore.

An Evening with the Comedy Resistance ft. Mike Birbiglia, Hari Kondabolu, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Cipha Sounds, Activist Orgs & more @ The Bell House
The Comedy Resistance was started by former Obama White House staffers to connect comedians to activism. This Tuesday’s show features stand up from Mike Birbiglia, Hari Kondabolu (The Problem with Apu), Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofolo, and Cipha Sounds. In addition, representatives from activist organizations like the NRDC Action Fund, Swing Left, and Run For Something will present their organizations, and there is even an opportunity to update your voter registration.

SAAS Presents: A Night of Comedy to Remember @ Film Noir Cinema
This showcase hosted by Jessy Morner-Ritt and Caroline Yost features improv, multimedia standup, and sketch videos courtesy Aparna Nancherla, Rebecca V. O’Neal, Francesca D’Uva, and Albert Kirchner.

Springsteen on Broadway @ Walter Kerr Theatre
The Boss continues his sold-out “Springsteen on Broadway” run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, which has just been extended through December. At these shows, Bruce is giving fans shows “that are as personal and as intimate as possible.”
