If you are a fan of Aaron Sanchez, Joe Bastianich, or even the little-known Gordon Ramsay, you've likely been watching this season—the tenth!—of MasterChef. Stakes have never been higher: In addition to the requisite cash prize ($250,000, to be exact), the winner will have the opportunity to actually apprentice in their mentor's restaurants. As such, the judges have never expected more, and the contestants have never been stronger.

So! Without further ado, here's what you need to know about each of the home cooks, nay, the finalists, gunning for the latest iteration of MasterChef glory. To be fair, there's not much known about them yet, but DON'T YOU WORRY—we'll keep updating this post as the season goes on.

Brielle Baker

"Bri" is a cocktail server from Dallas, TX.

Deanna Colon

A vocal coach! From Simi Valley, CA!

Dorian Hunter

Dorian's a creeler (a textile worker) from Cartersville, GA.

Evan Tesiny

This guy's a sales coordinator from Brooklyn, NY. Gordon has so far been impressed with him, calling his dishes "ambitious." Keep your eye on him.

Fred Chang

Yes, Fred is responsible for The Great Gordon Plate-Licking Incident of 2019. His chocolate cake caused quite the stir. Oh, and Fred is a revenue analyst from Redondo Beach, CA.

Jamie Hough

A fisherman from Charleston, SC, Jamie's intimate knowledge of seafood has already proven to be crucial to his success.

Kenny Palazzolo

Kenny! Kenny's a carpenter from Boston, MA. Kenny!

Keturah King

We hear Keturah is a freelance writer from London, England. @Keturah, hit us up after the season wraps—we'd love to chat!

Kimberly White

Kimberly's a shoe designer from New York City. @Kimmy, please also hit us up after the season wraps—we'd love to chat!

Liz Linn

Liz is an event consultant from Durand, MI, who explained in the premiere she's been looking to move forward since her recent divorce. Also, she's a great home cook! You got this, Liz! You got this!!!

Michael Silverstein

Our pal Mike is a real estate flipper in Pittsburgh, PA, when he's not off pursuing dreams of culinary stardom.

Micah Yaroch

Micah, a kitchen porter from Grand Rapids, MI, came thisclose to not making it. His first dish—churros—didn't impress the judges, but his expertly cooked fish swayed them in his favor.

Nick DiGiovanni

Nick is still a college student! He goes to school in Barrington, RI.

Noah Sims

Noah is a septic systems foreman from Epworth, GA, who was also quick to woo the judges. Another one to watch, I'd say.

Renee Rice

A receptionist from Ada, OK, with—wait for it—big dreams of culinary stardom. I like Renee. I think she's got this.

Sam Haaz

Sam's an attorney in Philadelphia, PA, which is entirely different than being a chef anywhere!

Sarah Faherty

A former army interrogator living in San Diego, California, Sarah wasn't messing around when she came with an herb-crusted rack of lamb.

Shari Mukherjee

Shari is a stay-at-home mom from Rochester, MN, who immediately impressed Gordon with her knowledge of and abilities with deep Indian flavors.

Subha Ramiah

Subha (an R&D director from West Nyack, NY) brought his mom to his audition. His mom told Gordon to give Subha and apron, and, wouldn't you know it, he did.

Wuta Onda

God bless Wuta, an English teacher from the Bronx who knows how to cook salmon like no other.
